Chair
Professor Richard Antaramian is the inaugural holder of the Early Career Chair in Contemporary Armenian Studies. The Chair in Contemporary Armenian Studies was established in 2014 with a mission to create a leading program for contemporary Armenian studies at USC.
The Chair supports a professor in the emerging stages of their career and supports their professional development, even as it promotes a multidisciplinary and contemporary look at Armenian Studies.
During the Institute’s 10th anniversary celebration, Gerald and Patricia Turpanjian’s Turpanjian Family Educational Foundation announced their readiness to endow the chair.
